SVC-05 — LOGISTICS TRADE ADVISORY

Advice that pays for itself at the border.

Tariff classification, free-trade-agreement qualification, valuation and supply-chain risk — the technical trade decisions that quietly decide your landed cost. Most clients recover the advisory fee in the first classification review.

THE FOUR LEVERS

Where landed cost is won and lost.

LEV-01
Tariff classification

The right code, defended with evidence. Misclassification runs both ways — overpaying duty silently, or underpaying toward a post-clearance bill.

LEV-02
FTA qualification

CPTPP, RCEP, NZ-UK, NZ-EU — origin rules checked properly, supplier declarations collected, duty saved on goods you already ship.

LEV-03
Valuation & provisional values

Transfer pricing, royalties, assists — valued correctly before Customs asks, with provisional value schemes where they fit.

LEV-04
Supply-chain risk

Single-source exposure, sanction screening and origin risk mapped before the disruption, not after.

SEQUENCE — A TRADE REVIEW

Three steps, typically 2–4 weeks.

STEP 01
Data pull

Twelve months of import entries analysed line by line.

STEP 02
Find the leaks

Misclassifications, unclaimed FTA preference and valuation risk quantified.

STEP 03
Recover & correct

Refund applications, corrected codes and the procedures to keep them right.

Q&A — TRADE ADVISORY

Often — refund applications can generally reach back where preference or classification was wrong in your favour. The data pull quantifies the recoverable amount before you commit to anything.

No — brokers lodge entries; we decide what the entries should say. We work alongside your broker, and the corrected classifications and origin evidence make their lodgements defensible.

Fixed-price after a short scoping call, sized by entry volume. Most clients' first-year duty recovery exceeds the fee — and we tell you at step two if it won't.

NEXT STEP

Twelve months of entries. One review. See what it finds.

A thirty-minute call, the data agreed, and a fixed-price review in writing.
