Q&A — ISO 55001

Many councils choose alignment first — the same system, audited internally, certified later if the mandate asks for it. Both are fixed-price; alignment-only trims the certification stages out.

An independent, JAS-ANZ accredited certification body — never us. We build the system, prepare your team and support you through their Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits. That separation is what makes the certificate credible.

55010 is guidance on aligning financial and non-financial asset management functions. It isn't certified against — we use it to make the asset register and the financial ledger tell one story, which is where most 55001 systems quietly fail.
